I am so pleased with this machine! Before I bought it I compared all of the features and benefits with the other ones and it came down to the strength of the motor and the fact that it had a retractable handle to move it around. It cleans the carpets very effectively, the satisfaction I get when I see the disgusting brown water after just one pass of the suction nozzle is immense! I made one mistake when I bought a large bottle of Rug Doctor carpet cleaner with it and I should have bought a large bottle of Rug Doctor spot cleaner but even that works effectively. I didn’t get it to clean the whole carpet but it’s addictive once you start if you can manage to spend that long on your knees, it is a bit of a workout though. I thoroughly recommend this bit of machinery. The icing on the cake was on the second day and I still had it out plugged in when my two year old grandson spilled a whole mug of juice on the carpet I just switched it on and sucked it up, such satisfaction and no marks!
